Hey, i'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me. A friend of mine just bought a 1998 Jeep Wrangler (ACK), anyways..its got 4 offroad lights on a light bar on the top and we were wondering how to wire them. They are all wired through the bar to somewhere under the hood. So all that really needs to be done is to get power to them. Im not sure if it matters, but they dont look like they are the mosy powerful lights in the world, they look like the stock round ones that come on the front bumper. Is it ok to just wire them to the battery or is there some other modification that needs to be done. Thanks a lot!

The lights use a simple series DC circuit. The important thing to verify is that the Low or Ground side of the light is isolated from the metal chassis (usually is). Assuming you have two wires coming out of the the light bar they can be wired to the battery either way. Put a switch in series with the ground side and you can switch it on/off from the cab. good luck
