Bummer for Hummer H-1...all gone...When to they shut down production on the H-1. Good to see H-3 sales up..My buy won't show untill Aug. What happened to the H-2..?? Is it a Gas Thing..?? |
Re: July Hummer Sales
Bet I was one of the last sales on July 31! Glad to do my part.

Re: July Hummer Sales
I really hate to see the H1 go, but as I predicted the H3 will be a good seller for GM, now if they could add a little more power to it, it would sell more.

Re: July Hummer Sales
Just don't let them water them down anymore than they did with the H3x... Thats the wrong direction IMHO.
Hell, what do I know. They'll probably sell a brazillion of the damn things. |
Re: July Hummer Sales
From what I have read, porduction of the H1 is done and no workers lost jobs. All were moved over to the Military side. It really is just a small number of Bldgs. with a small amount of people building H1's. The Humvee plant is very labor intesive and small. best day I think they can get out 25-30 trucks in one day, and that is not from start to finish. I wondering about the H2. Those kind of numbers are not good.

Very Nice..But still outa me price range.. :D ... I remember when they were what ..$65-70 K..? I was thinking about buying a used H1 .but I'm tired of used gack.. I want something new with a warranty. The H-1 's from what I understand require alot of expensive maint. Now don't let this piss any H1 owners off....this is what I've heard.:D Maybe they don't ..but a friend has a used very nice clean 97 H1 he picked up a few years back And it cost him around $400.00 for a complete lubricant fluid change when it goes in for major service.... Yeooooooooooooooooooow..!!! Bend over here it comes... |

--Yes, the maintenance is a bit more than on an H2 or H3. Most of the H1 owners that I know have networked together and do a lot of the work themselves to save money. Those H1's can be a lot to work on! But they are quite a vehicle! |
Re: July Hummer Sales
Impressive H3 sales in July.

That's a great idea.. Networking... Never thought of that. All you need is one guy with a lift. That would make it alot easier.:D |
