Steering Wheel Knocking noise

I Need help from you all. For about 2 months i have been experiencing a knocking noise through my stearing column when i go over bumps small and big. If i let off the brake and start to roll a little and then hit the brake the knock happens everytime. Anyone have ideas what this could be? I did the torsion bar 2 turns but that is all. I have less than 7000 miles on my rig. Any help would be appreciated!

I took mine in to have the jack replaced, the roof rails replaced and have the same thing checked out. After 3 hours they told me they were out of the roof rails and jacks until next week and they could not find the thumping rattle (how I discribed it) in the steering line. Mine seems to come and go and does not seem to be related to bumps. At first I thought I had something bouncing off the steering column. It is hard to even explain, I feel the rattle more than I hear it

I feel the thump and hear it. I wonder if it could be the CV joint or boot.
