Chrome Package Removal

My H3 came with the chrome side mirrors and door handles. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the chrome? Are they just covers? I?m thinking that black will look better than the chrome for my taste.

They're not covers, at least not the door handles. You will have to swap them out. There's been a couple threads about it.
