Hood Scoop

At the risk of being pummeled by ya'll I ask the following...

Why doest the H2 have a "functional" hood scoop? Seems they would run much cooler with one. I see several aftermarket ones. Anyone have/tried these? Will more air flow help?

Thanks!

JamesT,

Volant used to make an add on to their air intake system that would make it possible to have a functional hood intake. For some reason they discontinued selling it. I was trying to get one from Volant directly but they stopped correspondence with me and I lost interest.

incamotors didn't ship to Hawaii.. Also before ordering make sure they have the product and that it will fit the Hummer H2 intake system if they have to order it from Volant you'll be outta luck.. at the time (2005) i was only able to find one other online store and they had the air scoop for the Chevy HD2500 listed as the one for Hummer H2s.
