Removal instructions? Black trim piece above tail light
 

I want to run my cb antenna up through and behind the tail light and up through that black trim piece above the tail light and onto the rear of the roof rail.

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove that trim piece above the rear tail light? i know how to get thet tail light assembley off already.

If the antenna is mounted at the rear of truck behind rear gate. You could run coax behind weatherstriping and down left side of truck once you get below the truck you can run the coax down the inside of the frame through the hole that are open then all you have to do is take trim piece off under driver door when open and you can poke the coax up through one of the holes under there. that is what i did. just a thought

Another idea is view my thread on the AVIC-Z1 install. If you remove the rear trim panel, and fish a wire down the hold located toward the front of the vehicle, inside the corner opening, it will magically appear just next to the spring. That's how I ran a rear camera wire to the front of the vehicle.
