Test drive and listen for clunks in the driveline when you pull away, and clunks when turning sharp or reversing. While easily fixable, it will give you some indication of well the vehicles been cared for mechanically.

There isn't anything in particular that will wrong with an H2 that wouldn't go wrong on another vehicle.

Transation:

The H2 is cool and worry free if you don't drive it like like some of the nuts on this board.

Drive the damn thing and if it sounds like crap when you gag it or yank it then think about another one unless it's under warranty. It should be covered.

The H2 breaks just as often as regular GM trucks.

Are you thinking about buying an H2?

Let me tell my experience:

Yes. It makes more noise that just about any other vehicle I have ever owned.

Yes. I am constantly working on and/or modifying my H2.

Yes. I have broken the suspension several times (and wonder about other components regularly).

Yes. This is the first vehicle that I bought new and had a leaking problem, (fixed as of today).

Yes. I have spent more money on accessories after purchase on this vehicle than any other (including my Harley).

YES!! I love this vehicle more than - any other I have owned; that costed more money, spent less time working on, had less maintenance proplems, and bought less accessories for.

Yes, I have driven My H2 harder that any other vehicle I have ever owned.

Why do I love it? IT IS LIKE NOTHING ELSE!!! Thanks HUMMER!!
