Low Fuel light
 

On the way home from work tonight the low fuel light came on for the first time. I try to feel it up when the range says no less than 50. Well today it said low fuel and 30 miles in the range. I drove another 5-10 miles to get home and it still says 30 in the range with the low fuel light on. Does it just stay at 30? Why not keep going to let you know how many miles you have left? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I think mine reads until 20 and then turns to LOW

X3 ...........and runs on low for some time! I keep pushing the distance to try and find out what the reserve is but have not run dry yet. Last weekend I ran 30 miles with low being shown (Highway) When I filled up I had 2 gallons remaining on the tank. :rolleyes:

I wanted to see if it was just mine so I put 5 more bucks in it today than ran it to 30 again and the LOW light came on right at 30. Now it just says LOW. Maybe different years are different. Mine is a 2005 H2 Adventure SUV. Now it doesn't give a range just say's LOW.

Well i wanted to see how many miles i got with the light on and actually ran out at about 42 miles. Got a ride to the station and picked up a gas can. Didnt look good to the prius owner giving me a ride to the station either. When will i learn.

mine comes on when it reads 28 miles left. As soon as reads low, I look back at my trip odometer and wait till I hit 20 miles before I filler up.;)

Mine comes on at 30 miles left, and goes down to 20 miles before it reads low...2003 h2
