Re: lift question
Get the Truxxs kit if you want to go this way. They include the shock relocate bracket to keep the stock ride quaility. The torsion keys do the same thing as cranking the stockers. The add a leaf really isn't needed unless you're doing some extreme crawling, and if that's the case, get the rancho kit.

Re: lift question
where can i find the Truxxs kit?
i would like to get the rancho lift soon, but right now i have a 4 month old and putting him in and out of a car seat with a lift might be a pain in the ass. but i do off road as much as i can, so i guess a little bit of a lift will help out for now. i have my torsion bars on 2.5 turns, will this be the same or will the truxxs kit give me a little more ground clearence. |

No, more clearance, the Truxx kit is almost full level at a ride height in front of 24.25" from what I've read. 2.5 turns on the stock T-bar bolts is around 23-23.5", at least is was on my truck. Don't know about anybody else's. PITA on the car seat. My son just moved up to the small booster and can use the seat belt:) Check out their site. |
