Super Swampers

I am stuck between a few tires, i do off road alot and drive on the hwy everyday to work. i am looking for a aggressive tire, not to worried if its loud on the road, but want good tred and able to pull in mud, water, and rocks.

Super swamper TSL- 9x34x16lt and looking at 152 or cheaper for my price

Super swamper LTB- 34x10.5x16lt, is this going to be to wide, and price will be 129 or cheaper.

If anyone has any info they can share with me, that would be great. The reason why i want to go this route is because its something different.

thanks for all the help

I think both of those tires will look VERY skinny. my 315/75 16's are 35x12.5 and I think they even look a tad tall and skinny. also, my experience with anything by super swamper has been that they wear very fast and uneven. but they are certainly the most aggressive on the market.

I was looking at Super Swamper TSLs last month and received a couple reports from people of tread separation after just a few thousand miles. But then again, I imagine this is possible with any tire, if there is a fluke. More people will complain about something than praise it, usually. I am still leaning towards them, but perhaps with separate rims for wheeling. When it comes to offroading, it is hard to beat these tires, though.

If you like Swampers, try their Trxus tire. I had on a jeep. Not bad on road, great offroad. price is ok too. i currently run cooper SST. I like them so far about 7000miles.

What you have on that rig is the SSR. The TSL Radial is a different tire. I must agree though, the SSR is a great, long lasting tire. The sidewall is a little weak if you do nasty rock work though.

I've tried the LTB's before too. They're super soft and they're not a radial, thus, they flat spot in the morning drives. They work great though. Short life.

I had a set of TSL SSR radials on my Montero Sport. These were a great tire. Very good off-road, quite on the road, great for mud.
