B+ AUX wire under dash

What does this wire do there is nothing on the end of it but its marked B+ AUX? Is this wire hot?
Looking to hook up back up camer from Roadmaster. But I want the camer to stay on all the time while driving not just when I back up.
Thanks
Bruce

I can only assume (since you failed to mention location and color) that if it is above the brake pedal, and it is red, it is the wire for the rear brakes; part of the trailer package wiring harness.
If so, it runs to fuse 83 in the fuse block. It is rated at 30 amps so it will handle a rear camera. The fuse might not be in the fuse block, but you can always add one, even a smaller one for the camera.
If I'm guessing correctly, there should also be a dark blue and light blue wire with it. The dark blue wire runs to the rear of the vehicle at the trailer harness wiring up under the left side of the vehicle. It is open at both ends. The light blue is the signal wire from the brake lamps, used to signal a rear brake control module that the brakes are applied.

so what wire would be best for the monitor and the camera?
I would like to have the camera on all the time and be off when the hummer is turned off.

not just when I backup?
Thanks
Bruce
