Zion National Park

My wife and I are heading up to Zion next month to do some canyoneering. Since I just happen to have a brand new H2 :D I was wondering..... Does anyone know of some good 4wd roads in the area? Nothing too hard (yet), just something that will let me get it off road for the first time.

X2
Make the extra bit of the drive up to Moab and play around a little. There's some great Moab info on this site. Use the SEARCH feature.
OR you could wait and watch this site for the next Moab trip and tag along.:D

I'm sure there's a trail out there somewhere. Stop at the visitor center, pick up a map, and ask the Ranger. They'll know. Have fun!

Basically, descending slot canyons. It's been done forever but is becoming more mainstream. Here's a link to give you an idea what its about.

I climbed for years and thought it would interesting to try something that basically is all downhill :D

Good idea about Moab (I have mountain biked there in the past). This trip, however, I'm trying to stay put relatively in one area and get to know it, vs. trying to see a little bit of a lot. The trip was planned prior to getting my new H2, so that part of it is just icing on the cake.:excited:

Descending slot canyons, Hell I' ve been doing that since I could get it up!:p Black canyons, white canyons, yellow canyons, Mexican canyons, large canyons, tight canyons, wet canyons, dry canyons, bloody canyons and the worst of all the yeasty canyons.

I guess you can say I'm an expert on (or in) slot canyons, a canyoneer if I say so myself.:giggling:
