Anyone want to run Deer Valley Trail?

Located off Hiway 88, near Markleeville!

The trail runs from Hiway 88 in Hope Valley to Hiway 4 in Hermit Valley.

Burgers and Shakes in Arnold on the way back!!!!

Directions: From highway 88 exit on Blue Lakes Road. Blue Lakes Road is about 2.5 miles west of the highway 88/highway 89 intersection and about 67 miles east of the highway 88/highway 49 intersection. Follow Blue Lakes road about 12 miles. You will come to an information display for the Blue Lakes campgrounds. Take a left and follow the shore of the lake to the trailhead.

That was my plan, maybe even Sat. night. I'd like to start pretty early Mon. AM since it'll be probably a 5hr drive home for me. Maybe more w/ holiday traffic. :mad:

Yes bully13 is working on Sunday. so we could not go up on Sunday. Also our pet sitter is not available.:crying:

OK, then we will just make sure you have really good directions to the camping area, or we will pick an easy place to meet in the morning.

Really, It is so easy to get there:

Take 50 Sly Park, around Jenkins Resevoir,and the take the Mormon Immigrant Trail to 88. Follow the directions I posted above.

You want to come in on the North end right? Then probably at the campground at Lower Blue Lake, or one of the other ones around there.
