Powdercoating stock grill
Has anybody powdercoated their stock chrome grill? New black painted one from the dealer is $500, was thinking that would be cheaper.

Re: Powdercoating stock grill
You cannot powdercoat your stock grill. It's plastic, it will be destroyed!
You could have it plasticoated though. Line X or Rhino Coat will work. That $500 price from your stealership is pretty high btw. |
Re: Powdercoating stock grill
or duplicolor spray on bedliner. takes 2-3 cans - at 7 bucks a can, can't beat it! :)

IMO, I'd recommend applying the primer and then having a bed liner professionally applied. Much more durable and looks better. Most places will do it for around $80. |
