Proof that you saw the dealer's invoice when you present your GMID..??
Do I ask for this form ...???

Can the dealer try to fake me out and not show me his factory invoice on my new H3..??

At what point during the transaction should he put this form in front of me??

Since I ordered my H3 over the phone after shopping around I want to know excactly what to do when I walk in with the check in hand to purchase.

Should I have a friend with an H1 wating in the parking lot to drive thru his window if he Pisses me off..??:D

Never heard of that, is this something new? I never saw an invoice or signed such form when I bought mine with GMID...

I think it was F5 who mentioned that in a post some where.. F5 If I'm wrong here..just jump in and step on my Balls..

I'm sure I read it in a thread here ....something about that the dealer must show you the factory invoice and that you sign a form that goes back to GM to make sure you received the correct GMID price.

You do have to sign a form in order for the dealer to receive what little reimbursement they get from GM.

When I bought my 07 last week with the GMID, the dealer showed me the invoice and I signed something saying I saw it. It was just part of the stack of papers I had to sign.

If it's not part of the paperwork, just ask for it.

:iagree: I believe I signed something in the process of signing everything that day, that said I had seen the price. If dealer gets audited, do they need that signed doc? not sure.

I just bought a H3 last week with a GM employees discount. I didn't even tell the saleman about it until I had got the price as far down as I could. I got the $2000 plus another 2000 from the dealer and they threw in some extras, like luggage rack and Lo-Jac. Then I gave the salesman the GM paper. He was surprised at the price I paid. Said it was $5000 below what the dealer pays for it. He showed me the invoice ands he was right if that invoice was right.
By the way my wife refuses to go to a car dealer with me. She said I embaress her.

When you go in to sign the paperwork, they should show you the invoice. They will ask you for your authorization number, plug it in and get an approval number. Then they will print a 2 page form for you to intial saying you saw the invoice with the suppl price, and that is what you are buying the vehicle for. Thanks Agriv8r... That's what I needed to know... Also ..I'm still waiting for them to get me the Vin# per your last PM to me. As soon as I get it I'll shoot it over. It's been 4 weeks since the order... I figure another 2-4 weeks and I'll be Humm-en..:D
