We ran Spring Creek today and it was a blast. Along on the ride were (drivers) Me, Tim, Alec, Corey, and Joel. Twas a fun trail, but not if you don't like shelf roads (sorry Kathy ;) ).

Here's some pix!

Tim. For those of you that don't know him -- He wakes up in the morning, picks out what socks he's going to wear, then picks out which Hummer he's going to drive, and heads to the trail.

At 10,000+ feet the Aspens are just barely starting to turn. Fall is coming!

At the Rock Garden.

Sadly, we didn't get through this freakin' rock garden. It's only .5 miles to the end of the trail from here. There are two main routes up this thing. The one straight ahead in the pic, and one to right. We tried and tried both and could not get through. The one straight ahead hear had boulders waist high. The one on the right (which we think is the "bypass" was way too narrow at one point between a boudler and a tree). We'll be back some day when we have a little more time.

The H3s could have gone through here because there was a 3rd bypass through some trees. We tried for almost and hour to squeeze my h2 through, but it wouldn't fit. So, believe it or not, we had to turn around because the H2s. :( Most of the rock garden is not difficult, but that one impassible point on each route kept us from the top. In the end, that didn't really matter because we had an excellent day.

This is Joel (Wisha hadden H3).

His Elcova user name is a little funny since he actually does have an H3. His rig is totally stock, manual, and since he couldn't get his locker working today - unlocked! I gotta hand it to him - only 568 miles on his rig and up Spring Creek he goes! :D

I'm gonna post and update on that in my other thread. Anyway, the Procomp MTs absolutely rock. Love 'em. For now, they are barely louder that my old BFG ATs. That'll change when they were down a bit (I'm told).

The new mods have the changed the ride of my rig A LOT. I'm luvin' it.

Okay thanks, I am about 3k or less away on new tires
and was leaning towards the BF MT's, but I like the fact that the Procomps are siped.

Nice pics CO. SWEET A$$ tires too. I will also admit the matching yellow shock boots do look good too.

CO is a very color coordinating person. If you ever have the opportunity to come to Colorado, be sure to stop by to say hello and check out his color pallet. It's a mellow mix of yellow, black, and chrome.

Even Coopers dog bowl matches his truck. :excited:
I'm just glad that Bodie didn't make Cooper match his truck today.

I had a great time to day... as usual!

...now to detail the truck before a certain someone comes home to finds her truck trashed. I have two more days..... or  will happen.:D

Haha!

I'm wondering what goes through your head when you pick out your Hummer in the morning.

Moderate Trail - "I'll take the H2"

Difficult Trail with the possibility of body damage - "Ummmm. I think I'll take Kira's truck".

:D :D
