Did you have to take the first 8 in to get the ninth, kiss a sales persons ass, or just drop in and ask? My local dealerships sucks balls and I really don't want to have to go kiss ass to get the toy, but i might!:dancingbanana:

Is this for real? I haven't seen this advertised anywheres down here. I just don't want to walk into a dealer with 8 Hummer toys and have them laugh at me. If one of them called me :lame: , I'd just :crying: (:giggling: )

My dealer said all you have to do is come in and ask for one. They only got 450, so they will go fast. I'm not sure how many each dealer got.

Thanks IVS! I just called my local dealer . They didn't know about the special Hummer dealer promo. I kept saying, "Are you SURE??" LOL. He took my number and called me back after checking with another manager. Yep, they have them! I was the first to call and ask. I'll pick ours up today. Thanks for the heads up, ivs. My son is going going to love it! :jump:

ha! no, you don't have to have the first 8 and someone MAY give you a funny look if you bring them in...but dealerships should have plenty

I went to my dealer today for my oil change....
Nobody there heard about the #9:( .My kid was sad because i tell him about the #9...maybe because we are in canada?
Can somebody ship me one and i will pay all the charge and shipping ?

Thanks for you kind offer, Auggie. However, I WAS able to get my son one through our local dealer. A manager there, I think the Parts Mgr, told me she had no idea why she received a big box of little Mc Donald's Hummer trucks. She said no one had told her anything, so she put the box in her office. Then, along came my call this morning to them and then she said it made 'some sense', although she had different types(?). Maybe some of the McD's got thrown in there, too. Anyways, she said no one else has even asked and she's wondering how anyone will know about them. It comes in the same little bag, like the McD Hummers .. and has a #9 on the bag. My son loves it .. it's a cool blue, Team Hummer, H3.:dancingbanana:

Okay, I'm stupid. If this is #9, have there been eight others? Are these all something that dealers just give away, or are these somehow connected to the McDonalds Happy Meal promotion? This is the first I ever heard of them. :violin:

First 8 where at McDonalds via the Happy Meal delivery system, number 9 is via your local Hummer dealer. You can get the first 8 off eBay now...:dancingbanana:

All the dealers should have gotten the display box too. I've seen it and it is pretty cool. Hey Hmmm3, maybe you can go back to the manager and see if they have the display box and if they will give it to you when the promo is done? They probably got #'s 1-8 to put in the display box along with all the #9's. The display boxes around here have all been spoken for already.

Great idea, ivs! I'll give them a call in the morning and put in my request. My 10 year old son is a Hummer fanatic and would be ecstatic to have the case!! :dancingbanana:

I thought I'd be lazy and just buy it off eBay...I saw some other people from here bidding too. The bids were like $2.61/each 25 total and the bastard just canceled all the bids and auction and put em up for $24.47/each!

Wow, just picked up mine from Sewell in Plano and the girl handing them out was worth driving over there for - even if they didn't have any:perfect10s: !!!

Stopped by the Salt Lake City dealership last week and they didn't know what I was talking about. :( Anybody still have access the the #9? I need two of them for my boys....
