35 inch performance
Hey guys I was wondering how are the h3s doing with 35 inch tires as far as performance wise on the road. Bigger tires always mean less the power but the power loss is different for every vehicle....Does it bog the performance down on the streets on take off alot or something you can bear with? Such as sometimes bigger tires means regearing do the h3s run fine with the factory gearing?

Re: 35 inch performance
I didn't notice much of a difference at all. Did affect my mileage by about 2-3 mpg though.

But with 35's, your speedo and odo are going to be off (reading less miles), so you're not going to be able to get an accurate MPG reading. It's going to seem a lot worse than it really is. I don't know what the difference would be, but my guess is that your MPG is not as bad as you think with the 35's |

Your right and I'm aware of that but I think the difference is only about 5-6% so instead of the 12 mpg I think I'm getting it's probably more like 12.6 :D |
Re: 35 inch performance
I have those speed signs where i live in the school areas it did not do nothing to mine it say 35 on the sign and my truck say 35.
with adding the K&N REALLY HELPED THE POWER A LOT. |

Whenever the dealer gives it back to me I am planning on having a co-worker get my speed with a Lidar to see the speed/speedo difference with the larger tires. I will try several different speeds and post them. |
Re: 35 inch performance
Thanks Grape Ape.
I would hate to get speeding tickets in my H3 :) |
