Noise Question
Driver side front is squeaking pretty good. I checked the lug nuts, they are all good. When I turn right the squeaking stops, but returns when I am going straight. Also at slower speed (where you can hear better) there is a grind up there coming from the same area. CV joint? Any of you have an idea what it could be. She is a 04 with 64k miles.

Re: Noise Question
Jack that side of the truck up and wiggle the wheel top and bottom , roll it around by hand. Stick your head right in there by the back side of the wheel , you prolly will be able to pin point the noise. Sounds like a wheel bearing if you hear it grinding. Good luck

Re: Noise Question
Looks like it is the Hub assembly. The squeaking is due to the play in the bearing. Now the H2 dealer wants 403.50 per side for a grand total of 807.00. Unless I only replace teh one side. Just FYI, if anyone out there needs these I can get the same OEM ones for 150.00. So let me know should anyone need these, I would be happy to ship them as I think 403.50 is absurd

Re: Noise Question
Dice, i'm glad you found the problem. I actually found a gm parts buyer and got the wheel assy. for $90. +/- . Just do one side. You never know the other side could go for another 100k miles.
