Ugg!!!
I built my whole cabin with a gen set and an air nailer......
If I would have waited I could have built it with the compressor on my HUMMER :p That would be the sheit :beerchug: (no joke)

Wow - that's hot! Throw some synthetic line on and you're good to go.

It's a pretty good idea. I wish I had thought of it.

Cool idea, but I would be worried about the air flow blockage to the radiator.

I kind of thought of the idea - just a little bit Sandford and Son style -

Good idea. I want to do something like that for my compressor so I don't have to open the hood. You can use the plug for jumper cable too!
I'm worried about having the hood open during high winds.

Insulate those exposed bolts and connectors!

Thanks double D.

Those WARN jumper cables are nice - but they should be for the $80.00 :D

I really like this one - plenty of power for the nasty stuff.

Re: Warn - Power Plant Winch and Air Compressor

i would definitely go for the 12000 instead of the 9500. Same price more power, negligable line speed difference.

Re: Warn - Power Plant Winch and Air Compressor

I think mine has 125 feet of line - this one says 85 feet. Maybe it is a different diameter though

Re: Warn - Power Plant Winch and Air Compressor

I don't think I have ever used over 75 feet - but you always want to keep a couple of spools left on the winch.
