Onstar Diagnostic Report

Anyone else not receiving their monthly Onstar diagnostic report? I wrote them over a week ago, explaining this is the second time they have skipped mine, and I received a strange reply that they are having equipment problems. Just curious, am I the only one?

I had to go out to the vehicle to read my oil life percentage versus reading it in my emails. For you guys who can't read your oil life percentage, you have to be peed off, more than me.

Re: Onstar Diagnostic Report

I got mine 2 days ago they havent missed one since last year.:excited: 37% life left.230 minutes for phone

I have a new system with the OLM.
I am using Mobil 1 with a extendard guard fram filter .

When it reaches around 50% left(about 6,000 to 6,500 miles) I change oil/filter (white grease all hinges, pivits ect,E brake cable front and rear, trans cable and WD the door handles+key slot that I never used) and I dont reset it .
then at 0 life ( another 6k 6.5k )I will change oil/filter ect. again and reset.
at that time I will also rotate the tires.
This way I can acually use it.:D

I'd like to know how to check the oil life, too! Also, I've been receiving my OnStar Diagnostic Report on time, once a month. :D

I have only recieved four of them and I have had my 3 over a year now. I emailed them about it, and they said that the vehicle had to be on to send the report. You would think it would try a couple of times, I drive it everyday, is that not enough?

OnStar didn't always have this feature, so it wasn't available from the time you bought your H3. I can't remember how many months they've been doing this .. but it hasn't been a year. Funny thing .. when the dealer had mine for a lonnnnng period of time back in June, OnStar did a diagnostic when the techs were doing a road test. :giggling: I was pretty impressed!

IMHO cut open some filters and you'll be much happier with WIX or NAPA.

I haven't got mine for October yet either. I usually get them around the 10th or 12th.
Did onstar indicate when the problem will be fixed?
