Anyone have a suggestion on a good offroad toolbox? What I was after was a toolbox that the tools would snap into so you don't hear them clanging around on the trails. I have a set of Craftsman tool that I would like to pop in. They have a 4 drawer snap-in box at Sears but its a little bigger than I was after.

Use any box you like and wrap all the tools in shop rags - you always need some when you're out there anyway, so it's pretty convenient.....
Just my 2 cents.

I just fill the top of the tool box with shop rags. maybe 4 or 5 rags. works okay for me. I also bought a black plastic cargo tool box from Low's. Something with a top tray. Box and tools about 80 lbs.

I used to carry a three drawer box with my garage tools. It was heavy and no matter how much I stuffed it with foam and rags, it always seemed to clatter. And it took up way too much room in the back of my SUT.

Ended up buying a tool set that stays in the truck. Craftsman has pretty nice sets in formed plastic cases. No rattle. I carry another duffle bag with larger tools wrapped in towels.
