blackout wheels?

i was trying to decieded between having my stock wheels powdercoated or trying to paint them myself.. anyone that painted them themself, how are they holding up? and what method did you use to black them out.? anyone ever have them line x .? thanks

I did the exact same thing Phil did and mine turned out great as well.

they look great i think i would like to give it a try .. what is the best thing to use to clean and scuff up the wheels.. i am gonna try it on stock regular hummer wheels.. thanks
