BTW, where in Germany are you? Just spent a few weeks there earlier this year, in Bitburg.

Congrats! When they ask about gas I think its a not so subtle putdown so I say "oh no Hummers aren't about saving gas-if thats what your interested in you should be talking to a VW or Cavalier owner. Regards"the Rebel

Re: Hi @all, new H2 owner from germany

@Motoerhead,

I live nearby cologne, one driving hour before. I know Bitburg, very nice town with beer industry:D

Thats the thoughts here in europe, all are looking for saving gas, but that this means driving a tiny car without character it is unimportant. Most people drive a VW diesel or japanese cars, and that is not a car I mean. But I think that everyone can do,think and drive whatever he wants.
I am visiting US every year, I like the wheather and most friendly people, they are easier as here in europe and the bigger streets :-) last year I visited Miami 3rd time.

@frenzy1,

no I still haven?t a lpg , but I am thinking about it. Where do you have installed the tanks? What size do you have installed? My last truck (Dodge Ram) have it installed under the bed, but i think there is not enough space at the hummer.

If you like Miami, wait until you see the rest of the US. Many more places nicer than Miami in this country.

Congrats on the H2, I'll bet you just fit on some of your streets.

@Motohead:
I know the old town in cologne, and the city for shopping is very big, not so great like the malls in US but for germany it is one of the biggest...do you come for holiday or business?

@orangeCrush:
Yes I think so, I visited California 2001, very nice too.
End of the year we want to go to texas

Went last year for a 2 week vacation. My girlfriend was born in Trier and lived in Bitburg, she still has family there. We visited a few places, Castle Nuesshenswein (something like that) Burncastle (something like that) Roettenburg (something like that, and a few other place like Luxemburg and Paris.

Check out the pics in the link. It's a 120ltr tank installed in the trunk. You loose space, but I didn't care. But, I heard that now there are smaller tanks available specially for H2 that can be installed underneath the truck, so you keep the trunk free. Just inform at your dealer.

ps : my previous truck was a dodge ram too. Here's some pics : www.dodgetruckworld.com/Frenzy

Check 'em out.
My LPG was in the bed of the truck too.

@motohead,

Castle "Neuschwanstein" in bavaria from King Ludwig:o I Know it, I visited it with my parents as I was little boy:D

@frenzi1,

I have one offer for the same installation as yours, 120l tank in the trunk, but this is not what I am thinking, because I have a dog and ?she?sits in the trunk and need little bit space.
I am looking for a round 90l tank under the car, but this isn?t simple because I have a dual exhaust installed.
