Been seeing a lot of threads around various sites where different dealers are giving away things when you buy from them...

Sadly, I always seem to find out after the deal is over. I get the old "oh that was only good thru (insert yesterday's date)" speach.

Is there a way we could keep a running post/thread on how to get the best deal/free stuff at the time?

I am sure there are others who would love to know they needed to visit a certain print out a coupon for a free whatever before getting to the dealership!

What deals are out there? How do others get to play?

no free $hit for me either , but i drove mine off the lot for 31k so i didant expect anything . but some are getting some sweet stuff

I got FREE Spare Tire Covers for both my H-3's and am awaiting a FREE Cargo Cover for one of them but that was a dealer thing not a GM national offer...

I got a free tire cover also with the dealer advertisment.I thought everyone did.I sent it to the airbrush guy to cover advertisment .Theres a old tread on it (FIND)for the newbees

Anything "given away" from the dealer is done at the dealer's expense. The only GM promotion going on right now is the $299 DVD promotion.

i got a set of rubber mudder floor mats and chrome roof rack crossbars. however, i did miss the promotions on the dvd headrests and the "free gas" cards.
