Gibson exhaust. rear Vs swept

Guys, I need help deciding which exhaust is better. I"m in the process of purcahsing a Gibson exhaust but I don't know which is best for off roading...side swept(behind rear tires) or straight back. What do you guys think?

I use Gibson exhausts. In my opinion, their exhaust seems to do its purpose properly without any fuss.

I think the problem with most aftermarket exhausts for the H3 is that they leave the exhaust tips exposed below the rear bumper. If you do any offroading those tips will get demolished. Look at your stock exhaust and how it does not hang below the rear bumper.

Whats the inside diameter of the pipes on those vs the stock pipes?

Well I would say that if you're familiar with the Gibson extreme swept, it matchs the angle of the stock exhaust off the side, but it's just on both sides. That means it's not exposed out the back of the rear bumper, but still frees up the flow being a dual exhaust.

I'm no expert, but for the price $460 aluminized and $540 SS, why not?
