piaa lights relay question

i have 4 piaa lights in the front i was wondering if i could use one relay to run all 4 lights.. so one switch would turn on all four lights.... or would that be to much for the relays...i tired it and it worked... but i didnt know if that would be correct because the lights come in pairs with one relay and switch for 2 lights.. thanks!

ok thanks.. is their some kind of stud extender for the battery terminal so i can connect the power for the lights straight to the battery? or could i use the connection off the battery with the red box where i think the alternator is connected?

Re: piaa lights relay question

Every relay has a current rating marked in Amps. See what the rating is for your relay.

Then use the P= I times E (PIE) formula to calculate your amperage. If its less than the rating on your relay your good to go.

Hope that helps.
