Cargo Height

Hi, I posted this over in the tech forum too but I'm not sure if it should go there or here.

I need to know the rear cargo height. I'm looking into buying an H3 but I take my dog to work with me. She's a golden retreiver and I can't left her by myself, so I need to make sure the backs not to high for her to jump into.

I've looked all over online but can't find anything.

Thanks in advance.

Aimee

Saw some stuff on this the other day somewhere.. Folks with dog issues.. Someone posted a picture of a large hitch step for the pooch...

I wanna say the inside deck is about 32 inches from the ground..

Re: Cargo Height

I have a 10 year old 50 lb Belgian Sheppard mix and she'll have a little trouble hopping up into the back. She has a lot easier time going through the back doors onto the back seat. But I do have n the nerf bars installed.

Aimee, its not just the height off the ground but you have to figure the height of the top of the opening from the lip on the bottom of the opening as well as the angle.

I have 2 Great Danes and the younger one can make the jump but the angle is so great and the lip to top height is so tight that she will hit her back on the top of the opening (hope that made sense)

ANYWAY

Check out the other threads on animals and look for a ramp...

GOOD LUCK,

RYD
