I Guess Only The Hummer Builders Know The Number..
 

Is there a Phone number for some one like me who has ordered a 2007 H3 and wants to find out where it is in production other then calling the dealer. I have spoken to them and they say they are trying toget some info. But so far nothing.

Is there any other route I can take to find out where it is in order of production. I know it went back to production after the roof marker
problem.

But as of now no clue.. I'm starting to heat up :mad: ..Going into week 15..!!

I belive that the dealer is the only one who can do this for you, reson> when they orderd the truck they were givin a production #, this is how they track it. mayby somone knows another way but I dont

Thanks Hummer Jay,.....But I have cracked the case so to speak.

Don't know if this has been posted or not but I'll relate my resarch now for any one who might need this info in the future.

I went looking on the web for some contact info and ended up back at the Hummer.com site. I went to the contact link... Called the customer assistance center. I spoke to them and they infomed me that there is in fact a number to call to find out where my hummer is.

The Department is called the "VOMS" Department. The Phone number is 866 486 6376. Don't know what VOMS stands for, but I was told to call this number and give them my order number and they would be able to tell be what's going on with my H3.

When I get home tonight around 8:30 PM I'll call as there their 24 hours a day. I'll let you know WTF is going on. What pisses me off here is that the dealer didn't tell me I could call and keep track of my H3.:twak: :lame:

And The Plot Thickens..!!!!

Just got off the phone with Hummer. Nicest guy you would ever want to talk with. Let me talk and explain the whole story from soup to nuts. Didn't interrupt me once. I gave him the Factory order number that the dealer sent me with the print out of all the options.

He asked me if I would mind holding for a min or two while he checked.
After about 3 min of elevator music he came back on the line and told me...

The Letter sequence and amount of letters is correct but there is no such order number active....!!!!!!
WTF..!!!:twak: :lame:

He thinks that when the H3 restarted production that they may have changed the order number. GM Hummer will call the dealer tomorrow and find out what's going on.

Aint that some stuff.... They said they would call me back tomorrow with some more info....:cool:

Sounds strange, when I ordered my H2 on Feb 9 and dealer had it on Mar 29 about 7 weeks all told. I hope you didn't give them a big deposit. Regards "The Rebel"

Your dealer sucks. It's a shame that you have been going through all this. The dealer should be rattling the cage for you and trying to keep you satified and happy. Too bad you can't locate the vehicle you're looking for in-stock somewhere and tell your current dealer to go suck engine oil. You should call around. Good luck.

Roll up in there wearing this shirt and tell them you want to know where your Hummer is NOW!!!! MOVE BEEETCHES!!!

Well it's laoded up and I wanted the Amber Roof Marker Lamps. Most dealers don't have I would assume in my area (3) don't have the options and color I want.

ANy way..I'll wait till I here back from GM.

The UHN Option is or was holding up delievery.. Dealer wanted $200 extra to install if I deleted it and ordered it in when available. It is now available from what I hear.

Update.... Now the dealer tells me....that the amber roof marker lamps are NOT Available yet..!! Last week he was told they were..????

So now .. I'm back in the poop hole.. there is no new order number in the system . He says he has to re-enter the order every Tuesday to see if the GM Computer will except the order to be built.

I also was told that the GM plant shuts down for 3 weeks for Xmas in Dcember..

Can you say January...delivery...??? Oh man ..talk about being bummed.:crying:

Look on the bright side.. You may get to be the first person to order a 2009 H3..

I feel for ya, but wouldn't it be less of a hassle to either forget about the overhead lights or pony up the extra $200 later on..??
