OK, first off I dont like chrome much. But PLASTIC chrome would be the worst.

I have a gently used chrome plastic Putco hood panel insert if you want it. (I bought it used from someone but I never installed it)

Try this link. There is a photo of the plastic chrome hood panel. This link is from the thread I originally saw when I bought the panel used. The plastic chrome looks ok, but I bought and installed a SMA chrome hood panel instead.
