wheel + tire advice
Gents, pulled in the drive on wed with my new 3, Thanks Richard for the GMID it valued out around $3200 and made for a great time at the dealership. Anyhow, wanting to put 20"'s on but don't want to get into deep lug/mud tires. Any pros and cons, tips and tricks before I plunge into the world of add-ons?

:D Dude do what ya want, just don't put on 22's like I did. man you have no idea what you would be in for if you do.. I found out the hard way,
(right everyone?:jump: ). Plus you will never be able to go off road. If you do decide to go big, keep it to yourself as you would if you walked barefoot into a pile of warm dog Shiat! |

Hows this, First off most of the ppl on here use thier H3's for going off road, whether it be serious or casual. So they like to see the H3 be used for what it is able to do. Now, for myself, I am in FL and we do not have the full luxury of having all the best places to go off roading, so you will see alot more street versions of the H3's and the H2's. Chrome, Wheels and different variations of what ppl here think is bling!. So depending on what you want to use your H3 for you can do just about anything you want. When I had my 22's installed another person was there and he installed 28's (I have no idea how it looked) I left before it was done. NOW, I have 20's with 33' MT's. My point is a H3 can be whatever you want it to be. Either way you have made a good choice in buying one, and no matter what you do... everyone here will still help you when you have questions. I suggest you go look at the links that have pics of all of ours and get an idea of what you like. Have fun! and hold on to your wallet, you can do alot if you have the money.

AHHHHHH! I'm pickin up what you're layin' down, I thought there was a mechanical or functionality issue similar to the short lived period of extremely wide tires on small cars. I'm truly glad that trend is dead. Although wheel bearing manufacturers showed an increase in sales! LMAO.

20 inch wheels and the Nitto Terragraplers look really nice and perform well on and off road.
I myself have 20s and mud terrain. They are great for my style of everything. but they do have some hum to them as they age. I have anout 15k on them now. |

Handling is noticably better than stock as its a more sport feel with the lower profle tires.
Mileage? lol i have no idea I put them on like 2 days after i bought my h3. Here is a pic of mine for ref. Quote:

BP ... I don't normally like big wheels and lo-profile tires, but you've got a good combo there. looks good :cool:
