Quick factory alarm questions
 

is the factory alarm in the H3 a separate module or is it built into the vehicle computer (BCM or whatever else there is)? If it is a separeate module where is it located? If its built into something else what is it in (BCM etc.)?

BCM is the computer God of the alarm system.:D

Thanks F5. Which one is the BCM, the one in the engine compartment or the one in the passeger kick panel, or where else? And also do you by any chance know if there is an alarm arm/disarm wire coming into/out of the BCM? Thank you for the help!

Right front kick panel; passenger compartment. There is no one specific wire for the alarm. It receives inputs from light circuits, passkey, etc., and outputs to lights/horn and passkey module.
