Hourly service rates

If you think service deptments are high at 1 hour min per job thats nothing compaired to wheel chair lifts services.

I was faxed a price sheet from a company to repair my lift.

Service call (cause I can't bring it to them)$235.00
Labor rate $150.00 per hour(one hour minimum)
Zone charge $30.00-$80.00

If parts need ordered
Follow up service call$195.00
same labor and zone rate.

Emergency lift service
service call$235.00
labor rate $150.00(4 HOUR MINIMUM $600.00):crying:

what's wrong with it, we can fix it.:D

WTF is a zone charge?

For $400, you could contract a mechanical engineer and get a couple of hours out of him.

I think the zone charge is broke down to zip codes.Zip code A is 40 miles away so the charge maybe around $40.00.

Automatic door upstairs wouldn't open unless you pull it open.Could be bad for the servo to be doing that all the time, besides the Pa,inspector said get it fixed or enjoy the fine.

I used to charge $225/hr labor, $100/hr travel, plus parts. Poor Doctors.:fdance: A laser tube could cost as much as $10,000 and up. We sold lots of service contracts!
