My H3 is possessed
Last night at work my horn and headlights started going off in the lot for no reason. I unlocked my doors, relocked them and it went off. When leaving to go home the drivers display was telling me that I had an open door.. I got out and opened and closed them..still showed open door. While driving the auto door lock would not work or let me lock the doors with the switch.
At 0130 it did it again went off again in my driveway. Im off to the dealer this morning. Anyone else have their ride act like Christine? |

Re: My H3 is possessed
Probably a faulty switch/sensor at one of the doors.

Re: My H3 is possessed
I had a grand Cherokee that did that same thing while I was in traffic, alarm, horn and locks.. It turned out to be a blown fuse and that part of the fuse box stared drawing power from another source.. Very wierd, dealer changed the fuse and I was out in 10min's and never went back.
I hope that is all that you have to do. |
Re: My H3 is possessed
The problem wound up being the sensor switch on the tailgate..Back in business:dancingbanana:

Same exact thing happened to my H3 last month. Mine was a faulty switch in the driver's door. Until it's fixed, turn off the dome light from inside and lock the doors using the lock switch on the inside of the driver's door. Locking it with the remote sets the alarm, and that's what's going off because it senses that a door is open. |
Re: My H3 is possessed
I had the same problem with the Explorer I used to have - bad door switch. :dancingbanana:
