Adjusting Torsion to Lower Front End

There's a lot of information on this site about increasing the height but not lowering the front. On my H3 I did crank it 2 full turns to fit 35" mud tires but the H2 still sits "nose high" IMO.

I'd like to bring it down about an inch only.

Here's my questions, will dropping it an inch up front affect the ride quality? I know it suffers a bit going up but how about when you bring it down?

I just want the gap between the top of the wheel and fender to be the same all around. The gap is a full inch higher in the front than rear on my 2004 SUV with air.

...just a thought, but maybe your air susp. is too high.

I thought the 04's were adjustable? Phil?

Make sure to also look at the body lines vs looking at the wheelwells. If you do take the tabars down lower, the front end will me more bouncy and may even feel looser in the corners.

Wow, 4 turns seems like a lot. I'm not going for the raked look but I just don't like the gap in the wheel well up front. I just want all four corners to look even. My '03 Pewter (with air) sat 1.5 inches lower in the rear. It looked like a damn low rider and the dealership replaced the air system to finally fix it. My Yellow '03 (with air) sat perfectly even in all four corners. And now my '04 with air sits a tad higher in the front but not as bad as the Pewter one. It'll be a minor adjustment, I hope.

Check out my first H2 Low Rider...

the stock ride height is 10" however not sure where you measure from, i think i would find out firsthand which end of the truck is off.
Phil have you any idea where the ride height would be measured from and do you know from a visual what the distance from the jounces to the control arms would be on a stock ride.
