Yes I too feel sorry for the family, but come on! Why is it when anything happens to someones child IT IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSES FAULT. Parents need to be parents, not thier kids best friends. Parents need to teach their kids right from wrong.
I am not trying to start a big debate, or to be biatched at for not showing sympathy. I feel sad when I hear this type of things.

Another example, we had a young man arrested at the skatepark last night and when his Mom showed up, she defends him and argues with everyone that it wasn't her son. We had to stop her and say "Yes Maam, it was your son, he was in his truck smoking pot all by himself when the Police showed up"

But now, we are the bad guy because she thinks he is so innocent.

Dang it, let me stop and get off my soap box, and go tell my kids I love them!

I am going to say it. I don't have any sympathy for this. It is not like the kid was playing on the front lawn and was hit by lighting or something. This was a preventable accident. Also the kid was 10 years old and not something like 5-6. He could understand simple things like rope around next pulled tight leads to no air and you die. He was in the fifth grade so he understands how things work (unless he was one of the special kids and evidently he was). Here on military bases 10 years old is the age where you can leave your children home alone so that says something about that age being mature enough. There have been cases where kids this young have been tried for murder. If the parents are going to be dumb enough to show that to their kids and not fully explain the situation and what had happened then the kid should not have been watching it. For some reason I see the scene going something like this:

The parents sitting around the computer watching the hanging and talking sh*t like "Dude, that is fvcking awesome or Man I wish I could have been there to see it. Hangings are so cool."

"I don't think he thought it was real," Gustavo said of Saddam's hanging. "They showed them putting the noose around his neck and everything. Why show that on TV?" Why don't you do your job as a parent? Asswipe.


I am just glad that someone let the gene pool janitor do his damn job this time.

W T F is a 10 yr old boy doing watching the Saddam execution vid to get the G D A M idea in the first place???

If the parents showed him the vid - then this is the best thing that could have happened - thin the herd as I always say!
