I'm not the H3 builder, but I do have the H3 GM service manual.
I would recommend using a plastic trim panel remover, and insert between the panel and the I/P and pry outward. From the service procedures there appears to be no screws, just press clips. One on each top corner, one on each side about 1/2 inch up from the bottom, and it appears (these procedures aren't too good) there is one on each side about half way up. (I might check this tomorrow in the shop where we have a H3 partially disassembled.)
After pulling it lose, carefully, disconnect all the electrical connectors attached to the switches such as the rear wiper switch, HVAC, etc. (number of switches will depend on your options).

Don't know if you have posted before, but what do you do? Just curious since you mentioned that you have a partially disassembled H3 at your shop.

Could you please tell me where I can get the service manual for H3?

I'm not familiar with this part, also the dash is assembled offsite by a supplier source and is alltogether when brought to the plant for assembly.

Verified today that the trim panel has six metal fasteners that hold it in place, with NO screws.
Just work one loose with a plastic tool (you can purchase these at some auto supplies, and using plastic will prevent any damage to the I/P or trim panel), by prying between the trim panel and the I/P. Pull back and slowly start popping the fasteners out of the I/P and the panel will come off.
When reinstalling, make sure the metal fasteners are still attached to the trim panel, sometimes they unfasten from the panel and the metal prong stays in the I/P. If this happens, remove the metal fastener from the I/P with a pair of needle nose pliers and push back onto the trim panel. (You can crimp the end that fits over the plastic extrusions on the trim panel to allow them to retain better to the trim panel.)
To install the trim panel, connect all the electrical connectors, position the panel to the I/P, aligning the fasteners with the holes, and push in. I usually just pop it in with the heel of my hand at all six locations.
The radio is held in place with three screws and should just slide out when the trim panel is removed.

Let's just say I work for GM, and the area I work has many cars/trucks in the back that are disassembled including Hummer H3s, H2s, ZO6s, and some newer stuff I can't and will not mention.

Eventually, the service manual will be available from your dealer. Dealer technicians, and GM employees all have access to the service manual via a closed intranet site. Some of us, have access via GM Dealerworld that can be accessed at work or at home. Both of these places are restricted access.
Since the dealers have electronic access, which is updated daily, GM holds off printing of the manuals for a few months, so that the procedures are more accurate at time of printing. I suggest calling your dealer and asking to be put on a list, if you want copies of the manuals.
