Tunner?
I have a K&N cold air intake and magnaflow catback exhaust on my truck. Question is should i get a tunner or not? Is it worth it as far as performance (gains) and if so what are some recomendations?

Re: Tunner?
If You do not go with tuner after what you have done you will not get all out of the other upgrades that they can bring to the table. You increased ability for air flow in and out but, nothing to add more fuel and timing to get the real power You have set yourself up to have.

Re: Tunner?
Well i purchased a hypertech power programmer III for my rig. With what i have installed as far as intake and exhaust any suggestions on settings for best performance? according to what i have read in other post (unless someone tells me different) setup will be as follows:
2004 Hummer H2 87 Octane 128 MPH 6100 Rev Limiter Increase shift firmness Gear Shifts 1-2......+3 2-3......+5 3-4......+7 Does this look good or has someone found a better tweek? |
Re: Tunner?
Wil,
I was looking at making the same exact miodifications to my truck. Are you happy with what you have setup? |
Re: Tunner?
yes very noticeable difference. It actually feels like i have a passing gear and some balls to get around people.lol I would say worth the investment!!!!!!:jump:

Re: Tunner?
Why are you guys holding off from shifting longer? Doesn't the power start to drop off at about 5200 RPM?
