It appears to be a paint department "production aid" that I believe is used to keep the swing gate from closing all the way while on the trucks journey through the paint process. Someone could of left it in the truck after going through a repair station after final assembly. Notice it's painted the same color as the H3. Where in the truck did you find it?

I figured something from the factory was the case, since no one was able to identify it where we were...we saw a bulge in the carpet on the floor behind the front passenger's seat...looked under the carpet and there it was.

I'd bet I'm not the lucky winner...and it wasn't under the floormats, it was under the carpet of the truck...and the dealer did find it...:D
