Took the plunge

We drove to DC on Saturday and picked up an 06 SUV. The wife and I are very pleased. Moore Hummer in Tyson's Corner was great. Thanks to our salesman, Terry.

Hope to see more of you on the road in the hampton roads area!!

Thanks, we are already starting to look into a fabtech 6 inch lift and some bigger rubber. I know this is debatable but looking into some more chrome to set it apart as well. Its good to be in the drivers seat and hope to have many years to come. One quick question, it has the NAV system and we were told that the kids could listen to a different radio station than what the main system was on. However it seems that it only works when the main radio is running XM that the kids can hook up head phones and listen to their own FM stations. Can you listen to FM on the main system while the kids listen to a differant FM station via their head sets?

The rear passengers can listen to any source that is NOT used by the main unit.

Welcome & nice color!:beerchug:

Re: Took the plunge

Ok that kinda clears up the question. I guess the could also listen to audio CDs via the DVD player for the rear entertainment system. As usual the kids and the wife and I tend to have differant music tastes so it would of been nice to be able to listen to 2 differant stations on the FM bands. It was a little confusing and we were told that the kids could listen to a differant station than the front system via their headphones. Also will the wireless headsets work with this system? We went and purchased some plug-in head phones for the rear unit but now we have 2 sets of head phones in the back of each seat.
