What I would like to do for starters is add a Subwoofer with its own amp.

It llooks like all I have to do is get one of them adapters and add it before the factory amp. From there out to the Sub.

I guess I could disconect the factory sub also?

Any insight in the Bose setup and comments is appreciated.

There has been talk of a interface made by PAC on this forum to let you do just that. They are also developing one to add an aux input to the OEM head unit. No release date yet to my knowledge. Just do a search on PAC in the forum and it should give you some info
