Yes, they are...

With a V8 the sales would be through the roof!
This reminds me of when the XJ (Cherokee) had the P.O.S V6 and they put the I 6 in it and everyone had to have one. I wonder how much more the V8 will add to the sticker price though, and are they going to have the DOD system as well. |
That would be nice to see in the H3!

I wonder if they will ofer both the I5 and the V8.

And for the record....it would be great for a diesel or even a v6 in that truck, but more importantly, Fstop sure knows WAY more than he is letting on......I hate people who can actually keep secrets when they are told to !!

no mention of a diesel, just a gas V8 an with diesel prices, it woulden't matter anyway.

All I can say is wait until next year, then the year after and things will change. What those changes are, I can't say. As for the current I-5, I have no problems with the power. A little slow off the line, but more than adequate to do my 80 mph on the highways. As for fuel mileage, with my driving on the interstate at 80+ with the A/C on, and 18.01-18.85 mpg, I certainly have no complaints. If I had driven the actual posted speed limit, my mileage would have gone over what GM advertises; however, I would have been run over by a few semis. |
