$90.00 plus SHI. Do you have dishonest mechanics where you live?

Re: Great Diagnostic Tool
If your check engine light goes on ONSTAR will tell you what the code is for,it will also be listed on your monthly report or just hit the button on the mirror and they will tell you.
It comes in handy to have a tool for other cars,my brother has one I could use. Not needed for the H3 though. |
Re: Great Diagnostic Tool
I just bought a basic Actron CP9125 PocketScan D from Amazon, $54 - reads the codes and can reset the light. I ditched onstar, so don't have that ability, but for $54 you can't beat the price - my buddy's 1998 Chevy truck just tossed a check engine light, once it shows up, I'll let you all know how well it works.

Re: Great Diagnostic Tool
I think Carmd is exactly the type of gadget I personally need.It tells you instantly if your "cel" requires immediate attention or not.You can download all the info to your pc,it tells you what exactly what the codes mean, gives you the repairs involved, and even an average cost for repairs which is great when you inquire for service.Sounds pretty cool to me, but maybe not for everyone
