Anyone taken sunroof deflector off??..Noise??
 

Guys,

My Sunroof wind deflector is fouling the underside of the light bar (which is mounted as far forward as I can get it) and it's now started rattling really bad.

Has anyone simply removed the deflector part (the semi-clear smoked perspex part)??

If so did it give any issues with wind noise with the sunroof closed? (I know it will be noisier with it open - but that is not often the case!)

i took mine off when i installed my gobi rack and their isnt really any difference when the sunroof is closed but when open their is more wind noise.. but i also have lights up their. and now i have the gobi fairing.which helps.. but i would say its not a big deal when you close the sunroof.

I ended up installing 4 pieces of two sided tape between the deflector and the light bar, which basically sticks them together. It's been in place for about a year and a half and no more noise. Cheap fix.
