I don't mean to beat a dead horse or anything, but I was curious to find out how many miles you guys were getting out of a tank of gas? Could tell me what you normally get out of a tank, and what was the most miles you've gotten out of a full tank? If you have any modifications that would add or detract from your gas mileage, please list them as well.
Thanks! |

I have a lead foot, and I am getting about a 10mpg average. I have no idea how many miles per tank. I just fill up when the little light goes on.

Never figured it out. I drive backwards.

Average in town and highway driving 12.7 mpg. Strickly highway with cruise set at 65mph I get 15mpg. Checked it twice on a same two hour road trip.

H20Guy,
Are you in a 2003 or 2004? |
|
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm really looking for miles per tank, not miles per gallon.
|
The maximum range on a full tank I saw in my Hummer was 450 miles. Going downhill from 7000 ft elevation, needless to say, that didn't last all the way. Phil is right, your question is wrong.

Phil,
Thanks for the advice. I know how to do the math considering an average MPG. I don't have an H2 yet, but I soon will. In the meantime I wanted to see what all you H2 guys were getting out of a tank under various condition considering differnt drivers and possibly any modifications. |
With a mixture of highway and city driving (60/40) I'm getting about 365 miles to a tank of gas. I drive around 75mph to 80mph on the highway.

thanks guys!

11.2mpg over the life of the vehicle, 32 gallon tank, is almost 360 per tank.

I get around 350 miles in the city if I am gentle on the pedal. Most I got was driving to Hilton Head, 460.
