US comedian Eddie Griffin has wrecked a rare Ferrari worth $1.5m (?760,000) that belonged to the producer of his new film - and escaped unscathed.
He was practising for a charity race to promote his forthcoming film Redline when he smashed into a concrete barrier just outside Los Angeles.

The film's publicist Wendy Zocks said Griffin was "completely unscratched" but a "little shaken".

Owner Daniel Sadek admitted he had "mixed feelings" about the crash.

"I'm glad Eddie came out of the crash OK but my dream car got destroyed," he said.

"I went to my trailer for about 15 minutes and I thought, there's people dying every day. A lot of worse things are happening in the world."

Only 400 Ferrari Enzos have ever been produced, all between 2002 and 2004.

Griffin has appeared in a number of comedies including Undercover Brother, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo and its sequel Date Movie.

Don't worry, Ferrari will take care of it, they have a decent hit squad. I once knew a guy that totaled a 360 Modena by trying to jump 6 cars with it, he ended up crashing into the ramp, it was too steep. A week later and he is no where to be found, 4 months later his body is found... two rare coins with the Ferrari logo where found placed over his eyes. True story except for the first and last part, and middle as well.

Take it easy on him, he is on a Mac. The post he re-posted was 5 posts down, while that may not be hard to notice on a PC it is almost impossible to notice on a Mac.
