I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well
5 Attachment(s)
Well it rained like crazy all day yesterday so a group of us headed out of town to the country to play in the mud. I didnt get stuck all night. I did have to "rock it out" twice but I never got stuck.
I will say that the I5 is way underpowered for serious muddin though.. had a blast :D but I am going to hate having to clean it up tomorrow Attachment 37699 Attachment 37695 Attachment 37696 Attachment 37697 Attachment 37698 |

Re: I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well
As much as it's been raining here :( all you got to do is leave it outside and let the rain wash it FREE! :) No manual labor.:excited:

bparker-
Did you or do you have a Z06 by chance? I seem to remember a bparker on the Z06 forum when I was a moderator on there. Just wondering if that's you? I'm AgentZ06 over there. Chris |
Re: I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well
Yep, you are right, i had problems in 4hi-locked as there wasnt enough power to keep momentum. So when it bogged and I got "stuck" I would put it in 4low lock the rear and crawl on out. It works but I would rather have a V8. :D

I thought that was you! Good to see you here man... and good to know I'm not the only one that has gone from a Z06 to a Hummer. :beerchug: I actually sold my Z06, bought a new M3, sold it and bought a 745i Sport, and then sold it right before I got my H3 a couple of months ago. I'm loving this rig so far. I have 33x12.50x20 Toyo MT's too and they definitely do pretty good in the mud. Cheers bro! :beerchug: |
Re: I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well

Re: I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well
LOL well.... 2.5 hrs into it and its "sorta" clean now.. havent touched the interior....
I need to rip all the carpet out and just rhino line the interior floor and use mats.. :D |
Re: I gotta admit Toyo Mud Terrains do pretty well
Wow, you really tried to replace the Z06 eh? That i thought would be impossible and since I didnt want to pay 85k+ for a new one - i went with the H3 and I am glad I did. I will probably pickup a V8 later on but I will always have a Hummer to drive from now on.
Now, I cant wait for the Z06s to come down as I might have to get a used one off a lease in about another year. I think the release of the Shelbys will help bring the price down to earth sooner. Quote:
