H3T

I wish Hummer would build the H3T concept that I have seen. I would like a single cab pickup type Hummer to drive as my everyday ride. Well that is if they ever let me start driving myself around some day soon.

Re: H3T

I saw spy shots of the H3 being made into a pickup with the same size doors and cab space, but extended for bed space. This is not what you wanted, but it might be something of interest for you.

Thanks MajorGeek,
I think I saw those spy shots. It would not be a bad design at all. i just had doubts how much bed space they could get if they do not do a single cab design.

Re: H3T

Im assuming with the stretch that it appears they are adding at least a foot and the H3 already has a few feet back there. Roughly 5 feet should be do-able. Followed up with a tailgate extender and you could reach 8 feet, which is a target in a perfect world so that lumber, sheetrock, etc. fits in there. Anyone owning a Ford Supercrew knows what I mean, 5 1\2 foot bed with the bed extender and your golden. I see Nissan and and a lot of other companies shipping bed extenders factory, wish I invented it.

Of course, as the H3 will always be a "mid size" vehicle, i am curious to see what they shoot for. Worst case, even a 4 foot bed with extender gives you 6 feet. You can only stretch the H3 so far before you really change its appearance too much.

I hope they take the time to color match spray the beds. Had it dont to my last pickup truck, looks good, functional, can be touched up and quite affordable.

I'm surprised we haven't seen much of this vehicle lately. October was the last sighting.
