Blind spot mirrors
 

Can anyone tell me where the best place to stick the little circle blind spot mirrors? Are they better in the lower outer corner or lower inner corner of the side mirrors?

As for the blind spot mirrors it's really a personal preference. Most of the ones I've seen are placed in the lower outer corner. But once you get the mirrors properly adjusted and get used to them there really isn't much of a blind spot to deal with.

This or something like it was in the GEICO mag a long time ago. I have been driving / adjusting my mirrors this way for AGES...

Putting your CONVEX round mirrors on the Outside Lower section is best as it does gain a little more angle.

AND

when you reach MY AGE I added the FRESNEL Plastic Lens to the rear window and it works great...

I like it in the outer lower corner.
I like the look of a rectangle blind spot mirror,the circle doesnt look as good against the rectangle H3 mirror.
Pep boys has one made for a chevy(look in there blind spot section) ,I put it on my mirror and it works well and looks good.

Picked up rectangle ones at Tractor Supply, one of my fav. stores BTW. Installed in lower outside corners and use them everyday.

I got my small fish-eye at Wall-Mart. They had a set of two so I put one on the right side as well. Both are placed on the outside bottom corner. I set the mirrows at a better angle so I can see traffic better. I use the fish-eye to se the side of the H3. I am more worried about what is coming up more than what is beside my door. Never leave home without them.:clapping:

If I could have installed my rectangular fish eye lenses on the outside, I would have put them on the outside top of the mirror. The outside bottom is still a location where you can actually see a vehicle. By installing the mirror in the outside bottom, you block this area for seeing a vehicle two lanes over. Outside top basically shows nothing in way of active vehicles.
However, due to the large red leds in the signal mirror, I placed my fish eyes on the inside top.
I do believe a person tends to look at the outer edge more than the inner edge, so the outside area is probably better.
I do adjust the mirrors the way stated in the above article. It makes more sense, and helps to avoid running over cars.

However, the best place to install is where YOU, the driver are confortable with, and will use when changing lanes.

I don't know about you, but if I were blind in one spot I'd go see my optometrist.
