Wet Floor board

I have a wet floor board on the driver's side. It's not coolant and not a rain leak. Could it be condensate from the A/C??

It's not Coke, beer, or urine either. :-)

Your marker lights are leaking!!! OR

There is a drain hole/ hose form the upper chanel that gets plugged also.
It runs down your A pillar.

This was an issue on quite a few of the 03/04's. I also had this issue on my SUT and it was in fact that drain hose.

I bet you it was your washing machine.

It's also wet on the side carpet where it goes up to the center console -- if that sheds any light. I will probably take it in to the dealer in the next day or two. I was hoping to give them a clue if I get that blank stare like a calf looking at a new gate.

IT'S THE HOSE

Red, you can try this:

Remove the front, driver's side marker light and make sure the gasket is firmly in place. Then squeeze out BLACK RTV all around the gasket. Don't worry if it puddles. Let it dry for a few hours and stick a water hose up there and let it run. Then check.

You can even pull the A-pillar cover off to see in there.

9 times out of 10, this is the problem.

Should take less than 5 minutes to do the repair.

That will narrow it down to the hose if it doesn't leak from there.

i concur with the hose being the cause. Had that issue in my avalanche with the hose that drains the sunroof....

Take a air hose and blow some air threw the drain in the sun roof about 30lbs,pressure that way you will not blow the tube off and listen for air leaks !!

Thanks for the input, guys. Although I don't have a sunroof.

I'll let you know what I find.

The dealer service dept. determined it was the front middle marker lights that were leaking. They said they verified before and after in the carwash. They assured me the larger marker lights on each end were OK.

We'll see. :-)
